*CAMPAIGN* West Midlands Safari Park. Discover It All (2022 version)

A third and final iteration of this campaign made during my year as Creative Director at M3. We were required to breathe 12 months worth of new life into this commercial, along with some essential edits, with a brand new brief on the horizon for 2023.

The creative spark for that reinvention of this 1970's Pepsi-inspired 30-second spot actually came from the voice artist. We uploaded the script and the brief to the crowdsourcing voice talent platform Voices.com and, overnight, we received a boatload of test reads from all over the world.

But one read stood out a mile, all the way from the Hawaiian islands. This particular VO had decided to use his impressionist talent to read each line in a different voice. Inheeping with the animal on-screen. As if the animals themselves were reading their part. A thought that hadn't even entered our collective heads, and brought that jolt of freshness we needed to give the spot that much-needed extra shelf-life.
