Develop Consulting is a team of tried and tested experts in the implementation of improvement processes for manufacturing, construction and healthcare. They get under the skin of an organisation and find out what makes it tick – or why it isn’t ticking like it should.
Develop had an existing brand identity system that was holding them back. Purpose hadn’t been defined and the creative manifestation was clumsy, lacking meaningful rules to govern how communications looked and sounded.
I took Develop through my brand workshop process which uncovered some key points of difference for the company:
Immersed – Develop Consulting is a hands-on operator and prides itself on becoming embedded in a business, working in partnership with the key players to achieve desired outcomes.
Understated – Develop isn’t looking to be the hero. We make the client look good, first and foremost, and help people to move up in their careers.
Experienced – We know our areas of expertise inside-out and our people are senior-level. Develop is a safe pair of hands that you can set your watch by.
Saviours – We get people out of the mire, often at crisis point.
From this platform, I developed a brand story, value proposition, mission, vision and a set of values for the company. All summed up with a new tagline. In short, Develop Consulting is the business improvement consultancy that goes further.
The new Develop Consulting brand gave the company a new confidence in the marketplace. It defined with absolute clarity why they were different. In the year since the brand went live, Develop have gained several new household-name clients and have expanded their work with the NHS up and down the country.
They have spun off some of their online training products into a separate company which I am also helping to define as a standalone brand.
